====== AutoLit ======

AutoLit® is Nested Knowledge's platform for performing a review. On AutoLit, you can **[[:wiki:autolit:search|]]** for records, **[[:wiki:autolit:screening|Screen]] **out records that are not relevant to your research, and **[[:wiki:autolit:tagging|Extract]] **relevant qualitative data using tags.

Additionally, other features include **[[:wiki:autolit:meta_analytical_extraction|Meta-Analytical Extraction ]]**to extract quantitative data, and **[[:wiki:autolit:manuscript|]]**to compile your evidence. For more information and a brief overview of the AutoLit tool, explore the pages below!

When completing a review on AutoLit, you will automatically generate the interactive, data-driven visuals presented in **[[:wiki:synthesis|]].**

===== The AutoLit Workflow =====

By creating a review in AutoLit, you automatically create interactive, visual outputs on Synthesis. To see the connections between the AutoLit tasks and Synthesis outputs, see the figure below:

Any nest that you create, as well as any nest that is shared with you or your organization, will be listed on your [[:wiki:autolit:autolithome|]] page.

===== Features =====

  * **[[:wiki:autolit:search|Search:]] **Build a structured search using [[:wiki:autolit:search:exploration|]], run automatic and updatable [[:wiki:autolit:search:execute|searches]] on PubMed, and [[:wiki:autolit:search:manualaddition|import records]] from other search indices or external sources.
  * **[[:wiki:autolit:screening|Screen:]]**Configure your study's [[:wiki:autolit:screening#configure_screening|Exclusion Reasons]], and then include relevant studies and exclude irrelevant studies, using either single or [[:wiki:autolit:screening:dual|Dual Screening]].
  * **[[:wiki:autolit:tagging|Extract:]]**Build [[:wiki:autolit:tagging:configure|Hierarchies]] of concepts of interest from underlying studies, or save work by importing your Organization's [[:wiki:autolit:admin:settings:orgs:templates#tagging_hierarchy_templates|Template Hierarchies]]! Extraction will automatically create a **[[:wiki:synthesis:qualitative|]]**diagram of your work.
**Optional:**

  * **[[:wiki:autolit:meta_analytical_extraction|Meta-Analytical Extraction:]]**Gather quantitative data from underlying studies (and, as necessary, perform [[:wiki:autolit:critical_appraisal|Critical Appraisal]] assessments) that automatically populates your **[[:wiki:synthesis:quantitative|]]**.
  * **Write:**  Draft your public Abstract using our **[[:wiki:autolit:abstract|]]**, full write-ups using our **[[:wiki:autolit:manuscript|]]**.
